Black Rose Goat Milk Shampoo Bar 2+oz

Sale Price: $6.00 Original Price: $10.00

Our Goat Milk Shampoo bars are made with awesome ingredients like home rendered tallow, creamy goat milk, and organic coconut oil. These bars make a soft creamy lather that is cleansing without stripping your hair of moisture like some other shampoo bars. For the love of hair, they are luxurious!

These Black Rose bars have a luscious scent of amber, rich plum, and a fresh rose. I LOVE this scent. I promise it does not smell like a great grandma’s toilette. Ha! The rose in this one is so delicate and fresh.

These bars are on sale because they weigh slightly more than 2 oz as compared to the 3 oz of the full-sized bars, and they are not perfectly smooth on the bottom but are slightly wrinkled.

Why a shampoo bar? Because this shampoo is solid, it doesn’t need artificial ingredients. The high liquid content of the fluid, squeeze bottle shampoos need preservatives to keep them germ free as well as a synthetic emulsifier (fancy words for something that keeps the oils and liquids from separating in the bottle.) No need for artificial ingredients in this bar. Thank goodness! Some bottle shampoos can strip the scalp of its natural oils creating a “replenish” response from the scalp and hair became oily very quickly. Because this shampoo bar washes without stripping, people find they only need to wash their hair every other or every third day instead of everyday.

Need conditioner? Possibly not. I’ve put the most amount of great fats possible in this bar. About 75% of the people who use my shampoo bar, including me, don’t need a conditioner with it. I use an overnight treatment, once a week just on the tips of my hair and wash my hair in the morning as usual. Secret: the “tip treatment’ is really just out awesome beard balm; it’s packed with lanolin and vitamin e. However, if you have super dry hair, you may find you need a conditioner.

How to use it? Get your hair wet, hold the bar in your hand and rub it in your hair near your scalp. It will make lots of lotiony bubbles, lather your hair just like with your bottle shampoo. I avoid “scrubbing” the bar into the ends of my hair and just let the lather wash down from the top of my head. Rinse and go. That’s it! Whoop!

Ingredients: organic coconut oil, goat milk, rice bran oil, locally rendered tallow and lard, castor oil, skin-safe fragrance and color.

Enjoy a little piece of our Alaskan farm. Our goat milk soaps are handcrafted in small batches with bubbleloads of local, luxury, and organic ingredients. The price is for 1 bar.
